At Esch Construction Supply, our Exception Service to Other (ESO) Committee had an incredible 2024 year filled with impactful initiatives and meaningful connections. From sponsoring local events to volunteering time and resources to support important causes, our team worked extremely hard to give back to the communities we serve.
This year’s efforts reflect our commitment to making a difference, not just in the construction industry, but in the lives of the people around us. Here’s a recap of the highlights from 2024.
St. Paul College - Esch Construction Supply Scholarship
The Esch Construction Supply Scholarship is an annual award sponsored by Esch Construction Supply in partnership with Saint Paul College. This scholarship is dedicated to supporting students from BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, or People of Color) communities who are pursuing careers through Technical Education Programs.
By investing in future industry professionals, this scholarship aims to empower underrepresented individuals, promote diversity in technical fields, and help build a skilled workforce that reflects the communities we serve. Esch is proud to contribute to the success of aspiring professionals and help provide opportunities for continued education and career growth.
School Supply Collection Drive
In August, our St. Paul branch rallied together to support local students by organizing a school supply drive for Bruce Vento Elementary in St. Paul, Minnessota.
The team collected an impressive assortment of essential school supplies, including notebooks, binders, pens, pencils, markers, and much more. These donations were aimed at ensuring that students and teachers had the tools they needed for a successful school year.
Kids in Need Foundation Team Volunteering
Our team dedicated an afternoon to volunteering with the Kids in Need Foundation, an organization committed to ensuring that every child is prepared to learn and succeed in the classroom. Together, we helped sort, organize, and distribute essential school supplies to underserved schools and students, making a tangible impact on the lives of young learners.
Warm Clothes Collection Drive
In October, our St. Paul team came together to make a difference by organizing a clothing drive to support those in need. They generously emptied their closets, collecting a wide array of winter essentials such as jackets, coats, gloves, hats, scarves, and more.
These much-needed items were donated to Sharing and Caring Hands, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing assistance, resources, and hope to individuals and families facing hardship. We are proud to support Sharing and Caring Hands in their mission to uplift those in need and create a stronger, more compassionate community.
Toy Drives
St. Paul, MN - Prior to the holiday season, our St. Paul team united to spread joy and bring smiles to children in need by organizing a toy drive. They collected a variety of brand-new toys, ranging from stuffed animals and action figures to puzzles and art supplies, ensuring that children from underserved communities could experience the magic of the holidays. These toys were collected and brought to The Toy Shelf, Inc. a local non-profit organization in St. Paul.
Waukesha, WI - Our Waukesha team also embraced the holiday spirit by dedicating their time and effort to collecting toys for children in need within their community. They gathered a wonderful assortment of toys, including games, dolls, building sets, and more, to ensure that local families could experience the joy and magic of the holiday season.
By working together, the Waukesha team helped bring smiles to countless children and reminded us all of the importance of kindness, compassion, and community during the holidays.

This exciting event offers children a unique opportunity to operate real construction equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders, under the guidance of trained and experienced operators. It’s a day filled with excitement, where kids get hands-on experience and learn about the construction industry in a safe and controlled environment.
