Three-Mode Operation

The multi-function selector lets the operator switch between rotary hammer, rotation-only and hammer-only modes. This allows one tool to handle concrete drilling, standard drilling and light chiseling or material removal.

Powerful 8.0-Amp Motor

The 8.0-amp motor produces up to 2.0 ft.-lbs. of impact energy, 5,800 blows per minute and 1,300 RPM. This combination provides the power needed for anchoring, drilling through concrete and masonry, and breaking or removing smaller sections of material.

Vario-Lock Chisel Positioning

Bosch Vario-Lock technology allows the chisel to rotate and lock into one of 36 positions. Operators can adjust the chisel angle to match the work surface, improving access, comfort and material removal control.

Controlled Hole Starting

The variable-speed reversing trigger helps the bit start accurately without walking across the work surface. A Bosch rotating brush plate also provides equal power in forward and reverse.

Integral Clutch Protection

The integral clutch disengages torque transmission if the bit becomes bound in the material. This helps reduce sudden tool rotation and provides greater control during demanding drilling applications.

SDS-plus® Bit System

The SDS-plus® drive system provides automatic bit locking, efficient impact-energy transfer and tool-free bit changes. Contractors can switch between compatible drill bits and chisels quickly without using a chuck key.

Jobsite-Friendly Design

The ergonomic D-handle provides a secure grip for overhead, horizontal and downward drilling. At only 6.7 lb., the rotary hammer is manageable for extended use, while the integrated HammerHook provides a convenient place to hang the tool between tasks.

Dust Collection Compatibility

The 11255VSR works with select Bosch PRO+GUARD™ dust extraction solutions. When properly configured with the correct accessories and dust extractor, the system can help contractors work toward OSHA Table 1 silica dust compliance.
