BW Manufacturing D-1800 – Advanced Surface Preparation Technology

BW Manufacturing introduces the D-1800, the latest in state-of-the-art surface preparation technology. Designed in response to contractors’ demands, the D-1800 solves the messy, time-consuming issue of dust removal with a hydraulic dump box, allowing operators to dump up to 55 gallons of material in seconds.

Enhanced Blast Head for Increased Production

The newly designed BH-18 Blast Head delivers superior performance, featuring the same feathered blast pattern as the BH-16 while increasing production with a 2-inch wider blasting path. Fully replaceable inner liners extend housing life, and cushioned swivel casters improve maneuverability on flat surfaces. Additionally, upgraded seals, floater plates, and a shot separator system enhance output while reducing shot consumption.

Powerful Chassis Upgrades

The D-1800 boasts a planetary gear drive, delivering greater low-end torque and faster drive speeds for improved efficiency. Operators also benefit from a newly formatted control system and optimized seating position, providing a better view of both front and rear attachments.

Improved Maintenance & Serviceability

A new tilted hood design allows for easier maintenance access, while internal advancements help decrease service intervals and increase overall production.
