The MAX Li-Ion cordless rebar tier, ties TW898 series rebar from #3 x #3 to #6 x #5. Includes one-year manufacturer's warranty. The RB398S features a compact design that ties five times faster than manual tying. Ties are completed in less than one second, and maintain consistent strength.

Features include a lithium ion battery that gets approximately 3,500 ties per charge, and a brushless twisting motor for improved efficiency and longer life. An ergonomic design helps to prevent wrist injury. Also comes with an auto shutoff, belt hook, and new blow out channels for ease of cleaning. The Max RB398S rebar tier is intended for use with precast concrete products, building foundations, road and bridge construction, floors and walls, retaining walls, and swimming pool walls.

The RB398S is a direct replacement for the RB398, which replaced the MAX RB397. Extension bar sold separately.
