Staying "dust-free" when you are cutting or grinding can be a tough task. Many contractors run into problems collecting dust while tuckpointing because they can't see how close the shroud and blade are to the surface they are cutting. The Dust-Free Tuckpointing Guard from Metabo fits 4.5", 5", and 6" Metabo grinders. The convertible shroud helps eliminate dust created when cutting. The design of the Metabo steel shroud allows the user a great line of sight to their mortar joint which makes for a cleaner cut. The open guard design allows the shroud to collect dust around the blade as it turns the corner. Combine with a vacuum system to be dust-free while maintaining normal grinder operation!

A 6" tuckpointing blade requires a vacuum with at least 150 CFM to fall within OSHA standards. To complete your dust-free system, use the EschVac 552 or Pulse-Bac vacuums. These vacs are self-cleaning and feature auto tool start, which works great with handheld grinders!
