While volunteer opportunities still come sparingly, our ESO (Exceptional Service to Others) Team is still finding a way to make a big difference in our communities. Check out what our ESO Team has been up to this summer:
Hammer provides individuals with developmental disabilities the opportunity to live life to its fullest. Independence and fulfillment are at the core of the Hammer Foundation, by providing the support needed for people with disabilities to live meaningful, self-directed lives. We are always happy to work with The Hammer Foundation and provide support/donations for their annual Reach for Ralph Fundraiser Event.
is a force of healing and hope for individuals, families, and communities affected by addiction to alcohol and other drugs. As the nation's leading nonprofit provider of comprehensive inpatient and outpatient treatment for adults and youth, the Foundation has 17 locations nationwide and collaborates with an expansive network throughout health care. We made a donation to the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, St. Paul location.
Brittany's Place is Minnesota's first and largest program for girls who have experienced commercial sex trafficking or are at high risk for sexual exploitation. Brittany's Place Emergency Shelter provides safety, shelter, and emergency services to female-identifying clients ages 17 and under. We made a donation to Brittany's place to provide household amenities to the emergency shelters.
Pillsbury United Community helps lay foundations for full, healthy lives for children and families. They build places of creativity and connection, where strong voices are nurtured and stories are amplified. They strive to create pathways to a prosperous future, from education to jobs to economic mobility. We made a donation to help build stronger, thriving communities in and around St. Paul.
This Time Tomorrow Foundation focuses on using music and the arts to inspire hope. They provide direct financial support to individuals and families fighting all forms of cancer. It is their goal to help those affected today reach the tomorrow they desire. We sponsored a hole at their Golf Fundraiser on July 17, 2021.
To promote the idea of service in their community, Market & Johnson created the M&J Employee Impact Fund, a fund managed and distributed by the Eau Claire Community Foundation that offers a tax-deductible option for their employees to make contributions that support organizations in the communities where they live and work. We made a donation to the Market & Johnson Impact Fund to further this program.
